Hi I’m Maria Planas and now
I’m going to explain my trip to Italy.
Two weeks ago, my classmates,
Jordi Mossoll, Anna Vilà and I went to a trip to Italy. We went to the Barcelona
Airport and we went to Milan. We started the trip in the school at 5.30. It was
such a morning because we took planes and we got up really early. We took the
plane to Milan Malpensa and we arrived at 10.30 more or less. When we
landed, we took a bus and we went to Sirmione and the Lago Di Garda. In the
afternoon we went to the hotel and we could visit Verona and some historic
places like Arena, Romeo’s and Julieta’s house… We overnight there in the
Arena Albergo and the next day we went to Venecia and we walked a lot. There we
saw the most important places of this curious city like st. Marco's catherdral,
the canals, ponte Rialto... and we ate a lot of pizza and pasta.
The next day we took a train
and we travelled to Firenze.
We visited
the city for example the Duomo, ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria,
Michaelangelo's David... On Thursday we visited the Uffizi, where there's the
Born of the Spring and other famous pictures. Later we entered the Duomo and we
went up the cupula. We had lunch, we visited the Academy and we had some free
time. I used this time to buy some souvenirs. On Wednesday we arrived at
Firenze, where we stayed two more days, Firenze is what I liked the most. The
Vecchio Bridge and the academy, where we saw David and some sculpture.
The last day we spent the
morning in Lucca how was a very beautiful and simple place, surrounded by a
wall, with a lots of small and old streets. Then we took the bus and we went to
Pisa. We had lunch. There, we saw the leaning tower, the cathedral or Duomo of
Pisa and its baptistery. We took a lot of photos of ourselves trying to hold
the tower, they are really original. Some people climbed the dome and saw
incredible views. We ate pasta or pizza almost every day.
And then at 7 o’clock we went to the airport. We had dinner in there and we
hope our flight. During we hope the flight was half an hour late, then half an
hour more and finally a quarter. We were near where we set for hope there were
another group of Catalans with the same ages from Llagostera and for this thing the hope wasn't
heavy. With they we sing, meet and spend a very good time.
So all in all, It was one of
my best trips ever. I think one week it's a very short time… but we all had a
very good time together and now our friendship is bigger than ever, so it’s a
very good experience and very useful.
